    Poem Commentary

My husband and I were together seven years before we married. I said these vows on  7/7/02 at 7pm.  And I still mean every single word this 7 years later.

    My Promises

Today we stand together on the threshold of our future.
I promise to honor all that you are and all I know you will be.
I promise to always love you, care for you, and show you how in love with you I am.
I promise to cherish you and all the special things that make you such a great man.
Today and everyday I am proud to be your wife, your family, your best friend.
I love you unconditional, true and faithful.
    I love you forever.
Today I give you my life to become as one.

unconditionally,,, I like the thought, but I'm not wild about the form of this poem. That's not a criticism, just about me and my tastes. Keep up the good works.

He is a great guy, I'm very lucky. Thanks for your nice comments.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
