    My Prayer

I live free, I love life
My heart, my soul, my future wife
The world is cold, and we search for the warmth
No heat no flame, we take it for what it's worth
I live in the dark, though I move thru the light
The Lord gives me strength to fight this good fight
And with this prayer I pray each night
I ask for wisdom to keep things right

It's from the heart in which I speak
When I say the sky's the limit, I sumday hope to reach
I will not quit, nor lose my faith
The Lord is my shepherd, there is no debate
It's Him I ask to bless my heart
My soul won't cry nor fall apart
Lord bless my mom, and my little girl
Heal my family, then heal the world...Amen!

    i appreciate it...

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
