Lord please listen to me,
I know you can see things that I can't see,
I've been a lost sheep for all these years,
so i'm asking you to send me an angel to be my ears,
i've fallen into a hole, and I need a way out,
i've been screaming for years now, but no one can hear me shout,
my heart was heavy, but now it's light,
only you know how hard I had to fight,
i've been through some struggles, and had to hide how I feel,
when this last battle is over, Lord I ask my body you will heal,
please continue to give me the strength to love again,
i'm dealing with a man that constantly making me smile and grin,
it's getting to the point where we're becoming special in each others life,
and it's not fair to him that i'm another man's wife,
Lord, for years now i've been talking about getting a divorce,
some people may now agree with me, but this should be my choice,
if i've done any wrong Lord, I ask to be forgiven,
I'm ready to move forward, i'm enjoying how i'm living,
there have been plenty of nights i've wepted and sobbed,
precious hours of the minutes were lost, caused I was robbed,
but it's ok, i've learned to forgive, and let go of the past,
Lord, I just want you to guide me from this point on, and allow my happiness to last.
