    My friend

A hand upon my waist.. A shallow breathe caressing my ear...

A warmth , that even on borrowed time, was a gift to have so near...

A smile upon the midnight.. a melody of separate hearts.. drawn together

by circumstance ...then all too quickly torn apart.

I felt a whipping breeze on an otherwise scorching day...your presence, like

that breeze, for an unknown purpose has gone away, but small doses of

your compassion continue to rebuild my soul anew...and that is why I'm

thankful to the Lord that I found you.

You're a constant push...a reminder that I have nothing left to fear.

That as a child of God, my serene future is chrystal clear.

You probably do not realize just how much you've fed my need,

and convinced me of my worthiness and the belief I shall succeed.

Through the path of darkness you've held my shaking hand ... and

taught me to let go of all the pressures of this land.

I wont fall again face forward into the pit of true dispair, because the

Lord has loudly spoken and his promise is my air.

I am blessed with all the riches...

I have no fear of life or end

and I thank the Lord for blessing my simple life with you , my friend.
