    LOVE AND BEAUTY TRANSFORMED

    Oh Mother Earth
    what maligned children we have become.
    Your love and beauty
    transformed by vermin bearing chainsaws,
    amputating souls like crude surgeons,
    turning vast forests into barren wastelands
    while still others bore your surface
    like frenzied mosquitos
    in search of lifes blood.
    Their industrial complexes
    pollute rivers and streams
    destroying habitats of all living creatures
    with toxic wastes
    until even your precious air
    becomes unbreathable
    choking the life from you
    one day at a time.
    Your tears, now acid rain
    burning the yoke you bear.

    The depiction of of the earth lost is very vivid, as imagery foretells our doom. Can we ever recover from such devastation as brought upon ourselves? Wherein is the justice that we can continue to pillage these resources. We must be better than this or perish. Great write of tumultuous emotion!

    thank you my friend. I wanted to convey the radicals and their pillage. I did that. I appreciate yor comment. Yes we must do better and now.
