Knowledge Of Itself'

Knowledge Of Itself'

The accumulated consciousness of man.
Having all affirmation.
Absolute, yet unknown and hidden
But to the Absolute Himself.

Everything ever seen, thought, said or done.
All inside the Active Principle of Life [the spirit]
Completely unknown to us.

Having this said, contradictions arise.
For if 'completely unknown to us' as said
How did we then grasp it?

Unless given, by the greater Existent Knowledge...
There is no evident path to be taken in finding this
[Accumulated consciousness]

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
