    Poem Commentary

Ich Bin Ein Tenant of Misery.

It Could Have Been A Good Life

    Bright Eyes blaring wide
    Slowly Closing inch by inch
    Day by day
To the chorus of the tide
    Drenched in misery
    Life just keeps passing by
One day the wall of death
Shall come crashing down on me
And the tears shall flow substantially
And no amount of begging or yearning for the past
Shall bring to me more time
And I will know that what was
    Will never be again
    And what could have been
Will forever remain out of reach
    And I'll know
    That this is goodbye
    And my one chance
It Could have been a good life

i love ths poem. it felt of misery, but a so what. the flow was so beautiful and rhyming was great. enjoyed it

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
