In Route to a Friend's House
The path in which one travels to a friend's house is never long
For every inch forward is a shorter distance ahead of oneself
Imagine the bliss it'd be to be in thy presence of a friend
Friends so true and loyal have no need to boast or brag for admiration
For they know they've already got the attention of a dear friend
And so I say, though it may be raining...causing sleek streets,
The path in which one travels to a friend's house is never long
The mere thought of care in a friendship can be so rare that it'll hurry the travel
