    I'LL WALK AWAY

    That day,
    when I hurt real bad
and I've taken all I can
of your insults and angry stares,
    I'll walk.
    I'll walk away
    without stopping to say
    goodbye.
    It won't be so bad,
and you may have had a say,
    that day,
    if you had cared.
If you had taken a moment
    to hear my torment,
I may have stayed that day.
    That day, I'll walk away
    without having to pay
    any more dues to you.
    You having your say
    will not delay
    me being true
    to myself.
    You'll see!
    Finally,
    it IS about me,
and I'll be free that day.
    That day,
    I'll walk away
    without stopping to say
    goodbye!

But not without warning. When did he quit listening? Once you first acquiesed to his carnal craving? Easy just isn't valued as a blessing. Makes you want to hollar a big expletive as you leave. When your best friend won't take care of you, you do have to take care of your self. So, when will you?

Many aspects of our life are difficult to work around. And because I can't manage financially w/o assistance it may still be a while yet my mind is searching, calculating, and planning with every breath.

Very confident and strong yet fragile all the way through. Like a piceless vase charging into battle. lol i like it

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
