    If not you, than Who...

    You're not you...
    You're him.
    Isn't that his shirt?
    Aren't those his shoes?
Didn't I see him with a pair of pants like that?
    You're are a copy.
A clone created by societies eye.
    You are not you,but him.
You judge me yet you can't see yourself.
When you look in the mirror all you see is him.
More like all you see is them.
Lost in a crowd of simple "individuals" all scampering to the nearest mall for that hot new "unique" look, designed by your favorite.
    HIM
You are not you, he is not you, she is not you.
    Where have "YOU" gone?

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
