How Much Do You Love Me

How Much Do You Love Me

I hear the Father saying
How much is enough
To do my will, to turn from sin?
I hear Him saying…
Do you really love me?”
You praise my name
You say you worship and adore me
And you can put wicked to shame
But how much do you love me,
How much do you care?
How much is enough
To do my will, t
o turn from sin and pray
Will you seek my face,
Will you forgive all your enemies?
Will you submit to any?
Can you love  others enough?
Will you read my word, pray, talk and live the truth?
How much love is enough,
To die to yourself and to live for me
Tell me child how much do you love,
How much do you care?

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
