    How Can You Judge ME?

How can you judge me like a book
you only judge me by my looks
why can't you just judge me for being me
it isn't hard for you to see
so what makes you different from me
how can you judge me by what I wear
or is it because I have nappy hair
how can you judge me a side yourself
but I see your the one who really needs help
I hate to say were no different from each other
    erase the color
we would look just like each other

well said point comes across loud n clear

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
