HOME-LESS
A home, a place to rest and lie down our heads
To be warm and safe, nurtured and fed
To grow our roots for wings outspread
To pursue our destiny to which we are wed
A place to think and be at peace
A place to rent our hearts to lease
within the walls contains a piece
A welcoming seed of life's soft fleece
For Love to blossom in a passionate song
A ballad of friendship to forever prolong
For the music of laughter to play along
With the guitar riffs of a strangers song
To be out in the cold with nowhere to go
Is a feeling ill bet you'll never know
As people pass by with their eyes down low
Alone they will sit in a one man show.
Where does Love go if it cant find a home?
Will a heart dry up of all Love known?
and die in the silence all alone?
No God for our eyes to see, no Love to call our own.
For Love needs a place to dwell like a river needs a course
From one heart to another, directly from its source
To sculpt a home with Life's true force
with the beauty of Loves musical scores.
