Holocaust Odyssye
It's been 40 long years now, since my Childhoo.
I call it my Holocaust time,
Dark days, crazy nights,
locked up in terror, & feeling ungodly fright.
Powerless and without understanding,
Too young to know about life,
only Out-of-Body experiences,
as I was beaten, about 1" from my life.
After so many blows with a razor strap belt,
I lost track of the time, & even what was my crime,
As I begged for mercy, & cried out to God,
The unbearable pain, split my flesh, & split my mind.
So many, many times
I heard my voice & my screams,
Crying out to Jesus
before I passed out like in a dream.
Tough, tough times
Always living in fear,
waiting oh so quiet
listening for anything I could hear.
I call it my Holocaust time,
Dark days, crazy nights,
locked up in terror, & feeling ungodly fright.
Powerless and without understanding,
Too young to know about life,
only Out-of-Body experiences,
as I was beaten, about 1" from my life.
After so many blows with a razor strap belt,
I lost track of the time, & even what was my crime,
As I begged for mercy, & cried out to God,
The unbearable pain, split my flesh, & split my mind.
So many, many times
I heard my voice & my screams,
Crying out to Jesus
before I passed out like in a dream.
Tough, tough times
Always living in fear,
waiting oh so quiet
listening for anything I could hear.
