He is still in love with his wife

He is still in love with his wife

A man once said to me that he was in love but never said with whom

Because the one he was in love with only would bring sadness and doom

Like all of us at some time or another his focus shifted from the one it should have been on

But his redemption is evident through God because he’s talking to him now even at dawn

He confessed to the Lord his iniquities and the Lord forgave him for his sins

The Lord told him to look at his first love just as He did and that’s when a relationship begins

The love he had was real but it was built on false hope and had to be let go

Because if it would have grew it would not have benefited him but become his foe

As a friend I shared a thought that maybe he could identify with

And that was to love his wife as Christ love the church and don’t be the one God sift

While you read this be careful of criticism that might come to your carnal mind

We all been there at some time or another and peace his sometime hard to find

What makes him different is his honest cry for help and he came to the right person

No, not me but to God and he will be rejuvenated and cleansed when it’s all said and done

Trials have influenced him in ways it has influenced many of us, to take what belongs to one

And give it to another

But like a few of us he realized that he strayed away from his true love and kept moving further

And he ask God to restore his patience to be re-introduced someone he thought he knew

In the process he saw he barely even knew himself and the relationship between him and God grew

So the very thing he fell in love with in the other was always there in the first and will give him life

In conclusion to this, he’s not really in love with them but he’s still in love with his wife
