    HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAPPY VALENTINE

Age is nothing but a number
As we live to count ours
    Others has gone beyond theirs
    As one added worth celebrating

    Within you is like
    A crystal diamond hidden
    As silence of eternity
    That was born to stay

    As time produce flame
That burns the candle of life
    Melting past away with pride
    Before I knew it’s irreversible

If I could stop my candle light
    From melting and watering away
I must then face the reality
    Before my candle become shorter

As music harps on my soul
And fresh breeze bathes on me
    In a lonely wishful birthday
At a moment to cheer with you

    Levitated from riptides of life
    Unto lustrous saddle of nature
    I quietly serenity towards
    The pinnacle of granted mirth

    You who care for me
And who listen to my problems
As who is my light of hope
    That removes sadness from me

    When I was lonely
    I knew of you
    By the time I smile
    I know my love

    Before you exceed twenty two
You knew I will be coming to hold it
And now you are thirty six and I am twenty six
I wish you long life and prosperity

    Happy birthday
    Happy valentine

pearl, I will love it if you write one birthday poem for my daughter coming up on the 23rd of December.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
