    Gray Haired Man

Gray haired man, have you learned your lesson yet?
Your 20/20 vision only works in the past.
So, can you see how the world has changed?
You are bent and stooped and shuffling,
The weight of life is on your back.
Young men haven't lived long enough,
But you know what should be done.
Clear your throat and speak up.
    They want to hear you.
    Come on, speak up.
    The world is deaf.
    The people, blind.
    You can see.
    No more,
    Life.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
