    GOD—THE ONLY JUST JUDGE

    Righteous and Infallible
    The Fairest Judge
    Who passes judgement
    In deepest silence.

    Incorruptible and Impartial
    The just Judge
    Whom nothing can buy
    To pervert justice.

    No scandal of any type
Has ever… ever stained Your name
And no scandal of any sort
    Will ever rock Your throne.

    You never see black
    And pass it for red
    Nor pass red for white
But justice You dispense fair and just.
    Never do You pull punches
    When it comes to justice
But a hoe is always a hoe:
White is white; red is red.

    It is You I worship
    God… the only just Judge
    Who has never for once
    Called an axe an adze.

    In fairness to You, God
    You are the fairest Judge
You who never back the brute
    But stand firm…
    Firmly behind the just.
