For My Sister

Poem Commentary

This is to my little sister. I love you so much but I never really say it. So this is my way to do it I love you Cotton-tail.

For My Sister

It's a day to day thing me yelling at you
You calling me stupid and yelling back to
I can't stand you Nesha and I say I can't stand you
But we know no matter what for each other we'll always come thru
Yelling words of hurt not caring about each others' tears
Fighting only brought me and you closer thru the years
I look back and laugh over the silly things we fought
And of the days we lied for each other whenever we got caught
It seems only yesterday I was fightin you for a kiss and hug
You knew I was leaving but you fought me like I was a bug
You told me why you always called me certain names
Just to hear me talk more to cover up your pains
So many times me and you had them all out fights
And ending up laughing at all of our so called strife
Oh my god just thinking of the days brings tears to my eyes
Just remembering how I held you and heard your first little cry
You'll always make me proud till the day that we die
Your my little sister and you mean so much
I would kill any person who disrespected you with a touch
I love you so much sis even if I never say
Because your my sister and you make me proud in every way
Always remember I'm here whenever you need me
Because we are best friends but sisters will we forever be

I love this poem I think that the poet wrote this one especially for me and my sisters great job

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
