    Footsteps To Your Door

I’m going crazy being without you
Nights are dull they leave me blue
I clutch to this bear with you in my mind
Memories of you are easy to find
I’ll be home soon so you can hold me in your arms
To see your eyes I have to look at the stars
Hold you picture I miss your laugh
I’m crying missing my better half
My heart you hold within your hands
You’re the only person who really understands
Last night, those words sent shivers up my spine
I’d give anything to forever call you mine
I miss you baby but I’m coming home
Then after that I’ll never again leave you alone
I’m sorry if I ever let doubts invade your head
I just needed you to believe the words I said
You are perfect in each and every way
I love when you’re the first thing I see everyday
You are beautiful even you sleep
You are the only thing I’d die to keep
Because of you I’ll never have another broken heart
You mended it together after it was torn apart
I’ve memorized every line in your face
Your memory I will never have to misplace
I followed your footsteps right to your front door
You give me a kiss but I’m begging for more
I gave you my heart in the pouring rain
You gave me yours in return and you took all of my pain

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
