Fly!
Just like a small bird in a nest, you watch the world each day.You do not feel a part of it, so in your nest, you stay.
The other birds have left you, they've grown so brave and strong,
you hear them singing loudly, you realize something's wrong.
Then one day there's another bird, who's landed by your side,
she sings to you a lovely song, and tells you not to hide.
You start to sing so softly, then get a little loud,
you find your song is beautiful, you start to feel so proud.
She knows that you are ready, she spreads her wings out far,
you know that you will follow her, you're feeling like a star.
You stand together on the edge, you know you will not fall,
for you have found a special friend, the greatest gift of all.
