fallen love

fallen love

as the wind whistles past my ears and the tears streams down my face,
i realized the pain i caused you is nothing compared to the pain you put me through every day...
every time your name comes up .....
every memory i remember.... like the soft sound of your voice and the way you saw me..
but i give up...
you win...
i've fallen.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
