Encouraging Dreams

I've allowed you to understand the truth from my heart -
to relish and to relinquish the gift of true love to understand a moments true grace;
I've allowed myself to portray a heart full of hidden secrets that refuse to yell one's name;
I only wanted to cry to understand the life that was not mine but a chance to seek the truth from what one really knows.

My dear friend, allow yourself a moment to realize who you really are;
don't give up on what a person might think is a broken dream;
Your very heart is your connection to your inner most being while your eyes are the mirror of the soul.

Allow dreams to fly and
allow a memory a chance to drive the force of reality
into the now as one awakes from their solemn vows;
forgive and forget;
and live long and hard;
reach out to touch your long awaited star.

A chance to dream and a reality to fly;
know that there is always a chance that one should never allow to go by.

Nice!!!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
