    Poem Commentary

Life can present difficult and puzzling challenges these are the times to turn to God.

                                   The sea ebbs and flows.

                                            Endlessly,

                              Filled with blessings and woes.

                             Deep with mysteries so profound.

                                 Swirling waters of despair,

Cast murky meanings in Poseidon’s dark lair.

In stormy breakers buoyancy is drowned.

                                                 But,

                                         Faith everlasting,

                                         Is forever found.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
