    December Night

    December Night

    December night,
    Dark and lonely…
    Void of sunset,
    Darkness only.

    Your sadness creeps
    Into my soul,
    And drives me down
    So very low.

    My heart cries out
    To emptiness…
    A dark chill comes,
    And I regress.

    Alas, this night
    Will never end.
    Will morning come…
    Or death descend?

the tone of your work is captured and easily followed. Write more poems.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
