Debatable Day.
I can't have a voice,
They keep taking it from me.
Strip me of every choice,
And criticize what they see.
No longer do I have opinions.
Fore they try to change 'em.
Nor do I have thoughts
That matter to them.
Anything I have to say,
I simply won't.
They'll dismiss it anyway.
Conversing is an easy don't.
"No sir, yes sir,"
Everyday, all I can say.
"Yes ma'am, no ma'am,"
All day, only all I say.
"No thanks,"
I'll finally say.
"No thank you,
I won't remain this way.
I'd like to have my voice back,
And continue my debatable day."
I'll speak again,
I'll voice thoughts and opinions.
I'll commit my sin
Of being me.
