Dance of the Dragon
by The Quail 1957, Jan 26, 2009
Dance of the Dragon is a description of visible love as witnessed by two young souls.
Quietly through the forest,
Two young souls sneak,
Hearts racing,
Excitement building,
Pounding feet upon the ground,
Hoping for but a glimpse,
Watching with lively eyes,
As they near the place,
Where dragons,
Come to mate,
Entwined together,
They dance around,
With fiery eyes,
Locked together,
They glide,
Effortlessly around the clearing,
Dancing in the circle,
Around and around,
Listen carefully.
You may hear,
What they call,
The dragon sounds,
Taking flight,
Into the night,
Locked in long embrace,
Rising high above,
Evergreen forest,
In their love,
They now share,
The dance of the dragon,
With two in awe down there,
Moon and sun,
Mingling together slowly,
Two become one,
New life,
Breathes into the womb,
Their mating cycle done
