I Dream of You
Love needs no spoken words.
You call to me from afar,
You ask me, how I am,
You take my hand,
We stand in fields of honeysuckle,
As we stare up at the stars,
I pull you close,
I gaze into your eyes,
We do not need to ask,
We do not need,
To wonder why,
All that matters is the reasons,
No need to ask why,
For but a fleeting moment,
All that matters,
Are you and I,
Our love is like the candle,
Its light flickers and it churns,
Like the violet,
Flame that burns,
From its lessons,
We have learned.
You call to me from afar,
You ask me, how I am,
You take my hand,
We stand in fields of honeysuckle,
As we stare up at the stars,
I pull you close,
I gaze into your eyes,
We do not need to ask,
We do not need,
To wonder why,
All that matters is the reasons,
No need to ask why,
For but a fleeting moment,
All that matters,
Are you and I,
Our love is like the candle,
Its light flickers and it churns,
Like the violet,
Flame that burns,
From its lessons,
We have learned.
