Poem Commentary

i was mad at my dad when i wrote this
it nothing to serious though just to
get it out of my chest

Choices

Anger in my chest!

I want to let it out!

I feel like a kid with no responsibility to age!

When I am the age of a young adult!

Why will you not see!

I need that trust

For there is no reason not to trust me!

I have did nothing wrong,

But have groin up as a good kid!

Mom says she is lucky to have a kid like me,

Because I always try to do the right thing!

I take the responsibilities that I have

Why can’t I have the real ones!

And do the things I want to do most!

Can’t you not see!

I am old enough to make my own choice!

I should not have to ask!

For it’s not your concern any more

I am growing and about to walk out the door!
