    Bronzed children

What about the children all covered in bronze
the perfection parents put on them
never are they asked how they feel about
the televised world that they live in told what to do
childhood is trial and error fall down and
    pick yourself back up again
    learn from your mistakes
you only get one life to live
    so much life is wasted
what about the children all covered in bronze
what kind of a life do they lead?

Yes, the fabled "ivory tower treatment"! They will grow and follow their own paths! Great write!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
