    Blending in

     i tried to blend in
    so noone would see me
    and i wouldn't get hurt
    but it seemed a futile effort when you saw me.
    you said i was beautiful
    you told me you loved me
    and i knew it was a lie when you said forever.
    but i went along with it anyways
    just to see where it would go.
    and now look where i am.
    alone. in pain. broken.
