    Poem Commentary

I wrote this for my sisters wedding

    A Vow

Today a solemn vow you make,
For the other to never forsake.

Your love is there for all to see,
As life companions you will forever be.

A promise made despite the future or the past,
A love that will forever last.

And as your family continues to grow together,
Remember to rely on each other.

For through adversity your love grew,
And nothing has been able to seperate you.

With each day that you live,
    Always be willing to forgive.

    Away from compromise never walk,
To each other always be willing to talk.

    Let your determination never bend,
Live for each other until the end.

For if your love is pure,
    Through time it will endure.

So with love, friendship, & passion to
Your dream of love will come true
