    A view from the bottom

A flagrant lie I've been told,
a false dream of hope I've been sold
                 instead of kindness,theres only cold
                   When they made us humans
                      they threw away the mold

                          Hatred and cruelty
                         seems to be the norm,
a dance of illusion, we all perform
what we've created, is a hellish firestorm
to have peace we all must reform.

God, theres such ugliness in all the lies
                  its like an endless,foul reprise,
              ultimately all our  goodness dies
at this point even Jesus cries

so what are we all to do
we must share a new view
its our lives we must rescue
and give the future of the world
                           some value.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
