    A Very Special Man

    A VERY SPECIAL MAN
    WRITTEN BY LAURA PEREZ
    11-09-08 1:00 A.M.

I know a man named Jesse Ray,
that hurts so very much everyday!
He has had to deal with so much
    hate,hardship,and pain and such!

No one should really have to even deal,
with the heartaches he has had to feel!
He has so many demons he has to chase,
His life is so very hard for him to face!

So Why God,did you give him all this pain,
and grief that would drive anyone insane?
He is full of love and goodness,
so why give him so much sadness?

How can I help him and give him hope,
when the world gave him so much dope?
He needs healing from you today,
and he needs our love everyday!

Please, dear Lord, be with him now
when at this time I don't know how!
Let him know that he is so good,
and that he deserves more than the hood!

Let him see the love in your face,
and heal him with your loving grace!
So now I say this prayer for him,
that you will make his life less grim!

So can you make his heart be free,
no matter what he still has to see?
Help him see the love from you and I,
And that we will never say goodbye!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
