A Plead for Completion

Come lay your cheek next to mine,
And hold my hand through the passing of time.
Come place your lips upon mine so warm,
And calm my fears through this raging storm.
Here i lay in my bed of sand.
Hoping you will reach and grasp my hand.
I long for your love that shines so bright.
Will you guide me to my prize this night?
In the presence of this darkness.
I search in earnest for your flame.
In the sounds of all this silence.
I softly whisper your name.
My heart is so heavy.
In this place i call my own.
I think of all the love you gave me.
And i crave the tenderness that you had shown.
My love you were my sunshine.
During those dark and dreary days.
Your love is the fragments in the shadows.
That helped to light my way.

I trembled in your wake.
To feel the tenderness of your touch.
And your passions that make me shake.
Do you hear those soft hushed sounds?.
