    A Divided World

There's no one here for me,
The land of fire and ice,
    There's nothing here for me,
    No person left to be,
    Everyone walks past,
    Not willing to see,
    What this world has become,
What this world will always be.

    People scattered everywhere,
    Does anyone care?
    What this world has become.

Our lives have been turned like a rollercoaster,
    A tag inside out,
    People travel everywhere,
    Not willing to see,
    The division of the world,
    And the division from me.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
