    Poem Commentary

    April 10th, 2009

    You're No More To Me

    Disappointment is what I see
    But rage is below me.
    How could you cry?
    I thought you were bright.

How could you frown down on me
When you're the disappointment I see
    To be used by you
    It's all just the bruising.

    You took away my pride
You no longer hold a place inside
    My heart is strong
    But your reasons are wrong.

I don't see how you could, should or would
But I can see how your memories will be no good
    You screwed up bad
    Why should I be sad?

Only disappointment takes over my soul
Brought upon me by this fool.
Thanks for ripping my heart in pieces
I knew that sometime you would unleash it.

Feeling this pressure, taking this pain
Always standing alone in the rain
So this is it, this is what you wanted
From now on my heart will be haunted

    Forever yours will never be
This is the tear between you and me.
Watching you cry is what I need
I need you to feel bad for hurting me.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
