you

You

I sit thinking of you
looking into a forest of forgotten trees
the birds are calling in the echoes
singing of love
my thoughts drift
as the sunlight gets brighter
the violet hues in the shadows
compliment our spirits
in this green can
opy

It is an interplay of
silhouettes,
the color of light,
an array of pigment and vine
and dispersed foliage,
that keeps us wanting...
with the cooling of the soft
breeze where the
dragonflies play

The forest floor
crackles and twists
as I walk gently into your dream
the trees are covered
with sweet Ivy
where the honey suckles abide
and the blackberries taste
the sweetest.

In this richness
There is a threshold of leaves,
a theater of wonderment
and the discovery
of our spirit
together with the
humming birds
as they flit and flutter
for "more sweet nectar!"

as I walk gently into your dream the trees are covered with sweet Ivy where the honey suckles abide and the blackberries taste the sweetest. I liked this I think your writing is very thought provoking as stated.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
