    You Pulled Wool Over my eyes

    YOU PULLED THE WOOL OVER MY EYES

    WE BEGAN THIS JOURNEY TOGETHER ALL THE WAY;
    LOVING ONE ANOTHER UNCONDITIONALLY.
    NEVER DID I IMAGINE THAT YOU WOULD FEEL THE NEED STRAY.

    I SAILED OUT THIS BOAT OF TRUE LOVE;
    WHAT I GOT WAS SO SO LOVE.
    BUT NEVER DID I IMAGINE THAT SO SO LOVE WAS REGRET LOVE.

    I NEEDED THIS FEELING OF CERTANTY;
    KNOWING THAT YOU WOULD BE THERE TO HOLD ME DOWN. NEVER DID I IMAGINE THAT ID BE A VICTIM OF INFADELITY.

    I HELD ON SO TIGHT TO THIS FALSE REALITY;
    FALSE BECAUSE IT WASNT MY REALITY BUT YOURS.
    NEVER DID IMAGINE THAT YOUR UNTRUE WOULD BECOME MY TRAGEDY.

    I LET GO SO MUCH OF MY FEARS YET HOLDING ON TO YOUR LIES;
    ERODING MY INTER THOUGHTS SO FAITHFULLY.
    I GUESS IN THE END YOU PULLED THE WOOL OVER MY EYES.

    nice...sounds painful

    The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

    Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
