Wife Beater

Every night I scream in pain,
as I wait for you to finish your game.
It's fun for you, but not for me.
How soon until you silence me?
The neighbors hear,
the kids they see.
The cuts and bruises you have put on me.
Their little eyes watching,
as I fade away.
Wondering if Mommy will live another day.
Every night is worse than the last.
How long will it be until I pass?
People ask questions,
but the answers I can not give.
Because last night was the last I ever lived.

Wow. Thankies! I;ve never experienced these things myself, and so sorry you had to experience. But now it seems you dont tolerate it, im glad to know that... I was inspired to write about domestic violence from a friend of mine who's mother died by the hands of his father... now he has been adopted by a new family... Its just so much domestic violence can effect ones life, even if they arent involved and i feel people need to know more about it. thank you for your support!

Np, it was inspired a close friend of mine who lost his mom to the hands of his father....
