    Poem Commentary

This is the Prequel to another piece I wrote with the title The White Room.

    White room(prequel)

I am the way to a pale white complexion.

I am the embodiment of fear.

I will take your world and pour it away.

    I will create every tear.

    Consumed by feelings inside,

Caught in a whirlwind of hate

    Traveling in a downward spiral.

Faster by the second, I will not let go.

Realizing my fate, I start to relate.

To a happier time when everything was fine

As I continue to fall, I start to realize.

That I am asleep and this is some crazy shit.

My eyes open in a big bright light.

I am kicking and screaming still trying to fight.

I open my hand with shock I see,

a green eyeball staring back at me.

In a dash to change this fate

Found a hammer and broke a plate.

With the glass firmly in my hand

I start to think I start to understand.

That this gift keeps on giving.

I sold myself to make millions.

So this is the story and as far as you go.

I am blunt just so you know.

Now get out and leave me alone!

Repeating those words just as I awoke.

The bright lights where back and people around me.

This time I felt safe with warm arms around me.

Do not know what is real or even if I am alive.

Everything just changes; how will I survive?

I awake in this white room with no one around

In a comatose state, I sit and just wait.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
