    When Death Arrives

A young man sees Death in the marketplace in Damascus, the capital of Syria. To escape his fate, he flees to either Bagdad or Samarra in what is now Iraq. Death is, of course, waiting for him. In some versions, Death is a woman, not a man. He see's her staring right at him, he trys to run but he is no match for Death. He trys to avoid everyone but it's just his fate, he must die. Later that night he was walking down a long black road he hears something behind him and it's her, Death. He turns around to see her standing there with a sickle high in the air. Death swipes her sickle right throw him and ripes out his soul and devours it hole. He lays there on the long black road dead no movement once so ever.

I love your imagination. Structure could use a little help, but you definately paint a vivid picture.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
