    Poem Commentary

    unfair life...hurt...sadness...miserable life

    What Have I Done

    What have I done

    In this life of mine

    That is so wrong

    That no one wants me?

    My Parents

    My Daughter

    The Love of My Life

    Just to name a few

All they seem to want to do

    Is hurt me

    Abuse Me

Then throw me away like garbage

Is this what my life is destined to be

    A miserable existence

    Of Hurt and Despair

Why on earth did God do this to me?

What have I done to have this life

    That is totally unfair?

let me first state that God has a purpose for everything in our life. now,to the poem. I like the fact that the poem is concise, many poets use to many adjectives and also they write the way the talk, which i believe does not make for good writing. And life is often NOT FAIR. The poem has good rhythmn and paints good pictures in the readers mind. Also, it is a very good start for a beginning poet as you have indicated that you are. This is a good read. you are on your way to writing good poems is my comment. As for the rating, it deserves a good rating. Anything rating which is 9 or better is considered way above average. Good luck in your future endeavors. And you may find my award winning poem entitled Set Me Free and interesting reading it won for me the Poet Of The Week here at this site.

Life can be unfair at times...but sometimes we look to the wrong type people for the love we need...find what pleases YOU and makes you feel good about you...it is time. sometimes mothers get lost in everyone else's identity and forget who they are and what their needs are. your poem shows heart ache and sorrow...a product of life...now go find your joy.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.
