    We are but...

    engulfed in waves

    wrapped in sunshine

clouded by stars reflecting off the surface of the universe. Not realizing we are but a marble in the solar system, as significant as a grain of sand on the beach, in this lifetime as a leaf is to an entire tree, individually wandering through life trying to retrieve the purpose of exsistence, realizing in the end that life is lived forward and understood backwards. gaining this knowledge solely in time to make the journey of that which is inevitable, for reproduction of the next grain of sand, hand in hand, man to woman.... ashes to ashes dust to dust, living is a choice, but dying is a must. we are.... but stars... if even,

    if even

    we

    could be so...

Lucky to afford an eistence so magnificent.

Rejoice in that which you are

For though small if each leaf were to say to the tree "I am of no importance" and were to fall covering the earths floor, what purpose then would come of the tree? If each grain were to say to the beach, "Iam of no importance" and were to melt slowly within each wave one by one by one, what an unfillable void that would be left behind.

United we rise, divided we fall.

Arise, arise and wrap yourself in sunchine, allow your atoms to be engulfed in waves, and your mind clouded by stars. Dream, dream of the difference we make, but never lose sight that we are but a marble in our solar system.

i like the subject matter of this, but i think it needs to be tightened up, put into a recognizable poetry form rather than the paragraph style youve used. read some of mine, i think we are similiar in theme

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
