I will fill books
I will fill books with the pain you have wrought me,
From the unphathomable love, to thee insastiable pain,
solely you have caused me.
I will dedicate each tear fall to you
with every copy that is sold,
Never will my pen stop,
for I will remain broken even as I grow old.
Little girls becoming women will read our legacy in ink,
And be unable to stop the pursuit of knowing, while huddled bed.
Each page that is turned, every lesson that is learned,
will be written in forever, in hues of blue and crimson red.
I will fill books with the Love you have given me
Moments when ectasy was achieved
And farytale's believed
From solely looking into your eyes.
I will dedicate each tear of joy to you,
with every copy that is sold,
For I will remain a dreamer, even as I grow old.
Little girls becoming women, will read our legacy in ink.
And giddy with their first insight, while huddled in bed
Becomming more aware of desires come true with each page turned,
Will be writen forever in hues of blue and crimson red.
Life comes with a soul mate, that is never far behind
Death.... rides hand in hand, and time will not rewind.
Love comes with a consequence, a payment
even if you don't sign on the dotted line
The contract is automatic, binding,.... and pain never fails to collect....
Only nothingness is left behind.
I will fill books until my words begin to fade,
And i am unsure if they are memories, or dreams....
I will fill books with my soul, my heart, and my mind
Because I cannot fill life with you and me.
