can anyone help me with this poem? i cannot finish!

You swear you'll be the last to fall,
and yet, are the only one standing.
Promise you'll be GREAT in life,
but don't always stick the landing.
Proclaim to be morally pure
and are in need of constant reprimanding,
The truth, itself, is set in stone,
Words are the greatest source of misunderstanding.

Speak little, if you desire to be heard.
Actions read louder through and through.
Love me, not with your vocals,
But with your soul, heart and mind, with you.
Talk least, when you hope to be noticed,
Everyone around will drown out whats heard.
What you wish to say, has been said before,
Most don't take kindly to repeated words.
Verbalize, not at all, when you believe you know exactly what to say.
Write, instead, and leave your legacy so as others can conform it as they may

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
