WAITING IN THE DARK

WAITING IN THE DARK

Alone in the dark, no noise, no light
I lay and cry wondering
Wondering if I'll make it through another night
The sky is bringing dawn now
But the sun can't rise fast enough
It's still too dark, I'm still alone
I'll wait it out like always
waiting naked, frightened in the dark
I'm cold, starving, and lonely
Crying again as light draws near
It's painful, and pleasent; ugly, and beautiful
The same way a virgin feels
When she is coming into her own
Anything that feels this good, so bad
will leave you sore, but heels so well
Thats how sunrise feels to me
The bright light is too much to take
I'm afraid of what it brings
Or maybe I'm afraid it wont bring anything
But it's warmth wraps around me
It's calming touch is like serenity
Still, I know the dark will be back again
I find peace in the change, so I'll wait
alone in the light, I'll wait patiently
To again be alone in the dark

WOW This is incredible!!! will you be posting more SOON

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
