    Waiting For You

    I wait for you
    All alone in the dark
I sit here wondering when you will come back
    To save me from myself
I am wondering how long must I wait for you
I feel like your trophy you put on the shelf
Only to take down and admire at times
To tell your friends about in time
    I wait for you
To tell me you really love me
All I hear are the words
    Show me you love me
    I am waiting for you
To say you need me and want me to stay
Here i am in the dark
    Hoping we will never part
How am I to know which way to go
Tell me whats in your heart
    I need to know
    I wait for you......

Sometimes I see this as a bane of mine.....to need another. It seems to be how life is written though. A good pour of openness, pleading for that connection that can bloom into trust. But ah.....how stubborn we can be...

Dang, is he gone out for a pack of smoke and have yet to return?lol...No woman should wait for a man to make up his mind to say and show how much he cares.....If hes a real man--well not to say like me(wink)---but, he should be able to show his feelings....Good write, Kudos

I've been here so many times in my life. Have you read my piece called "Is It You?" I think you'd like it. Great job.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
