Untitled

An unrelenting pain
runs through the vein
of the man
with no plan
the man with no hope
the man with the dope
the dope that gets you high
the dope that gets you by
But the man does feel
what he thinks is real
fade out behind
now he feels blind
but maybe there is hope
so he gets rid of the dope
lives his life as he desires
and quikly puts out old fires
because the fires only burning
when theres the fuel of yearning
BUT now shes gone
it went all wrong

we are damned if we do and of course damned if we don't......

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
