    Untitled #2

As the ocean breeze blows in my hair
Thinking of when my life wasn’t fair
As I watch the sun go slowly down
I am happy with who I am now
I loved the way you stared into my eyes
    I felt like I couldn’t die
We went around town feeling invincible
But our love to everyone was invisible
I hated the way you make me feel sad
Cause I could never be mad
I hated the way you read my mind
Because you were right all the time
But I loved the way you told me everyday
That you loved everything about me in every single way

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
